The Live Oak International, the country’s largest Combined Driving and Show Jumping event of its kind, has posted its Official Prize List and Entry Forms on its website. Entries from the top names in both disciplines are expected to fill the Live Oak International roster with national driving titles at stake as well as the last opportunity for jumpers to qualify for the 2018 Longines FEI World Cup™ Final in Paris, France in April. The beautiful Live Oak Plantation in Ocala, Florida will again host the Live Oak International, March 15-18, 2018.

Live Oak International is not an invitational event; those interested in competing are urged to submit their entries as soon as possible to assure that they do not miss out.
This year’s Live Oak International will have new sand-fiber footing in the competition arena. Last summer’s Hurricane Irma had a significant impact on the grass in the arena, and with a wet summer and cold start to winter, the quality of the summer and winter grasses was affected. Installing the sand fiber footing was the safest thing to do in the interest of the horses’ welfare. For 2019, and all future events, Live Oak International will have a grass ring with an underlying sand-fiber base.
“We are very excited about all we have planned for this year’s Live Oak International,”said Chester Weber, co-president of the event with his sister, Juliet W. Reid. “We are expecting a high number of entries, so we encourage all competitors to send in their entries as soon as possible.”
